NHTSA Complaint #11617487 — 2022 TOYOTA TUNDRA

The contact owns a 2022 Toyota Tundra. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the vehicle made an abnormal beeping sound. The message "Check Owner's Manual - Electrical Issue" was displayed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the alternator had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure persisted. Additionally, the contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 23V566000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) and 24V381000 (Engine and Engine Cooling); however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 7,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
