NHTSA Complaint #11616217 — 2021 FORD MUSTANG MACH E

There is a permanent fault on the front camera of the vehicle, making it unavailable. This has permanently disabled the vehicle's pre-collision safety feature. The adaptive/normal cruise control is also unavailable because of this. Prior to the permanent issue, the fault would occur randomly and without warning, creating an extremely hazardous condition, especially while utilizing the vehicle's "one-pedal" feature. Under this condition (using adaptive/normal cruise control and the one-pedal function), the fault would occur abruptly and without warning, cruise control would fail and the vehicle would brake simultaneously, without driver action. Several times, while driving on the highway, this happened to me. I was fortunate enough to not get in an accident. The dealerships have been unwilling to address my safety concerns. Please see to it that this is resolved. I have seen many consumer forums with this same issue.
