NHTSA Complaint #11614177 — 2018 FORD F-150

The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated while the vehicle was parked with a trailer hitched to the vehicle, the contact noticed that the trailer hitch receiver was at a downward angle from the trailer hitch, which could cause a trailer that was being pulled to be at an angled position instead of being level. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was being diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
