NHTSA Complaint #11610371 — 2001 GMC JIMMY

Driver and Passenger door will not stay shut while driving, I almost fall out the passenger door while my boyfriend was driving the car from Fett's city motor in omaha nebraska when we bought it the door wouldnt shut we have to lift the doors and slim them shut and lock them and that doesnt even work. My Little 15 year old baby brother and his girlfriend was riding with me while driving down [XXX] and the both doors flew open and i didnt have anywhere to pull over to shut the doors my little brother fall out and his girlfriend. I put down $500 on [XXX] and when we bought the car Fette's motors knew the Driver and Passenger doors wasn't shutting the correct way and they still let me buy the car and that is a health hazard and dangerous. Fett's Motor shouldnt be allowed to sell cars or at least sell cars that isn't a a dangerous zone or safety hazard. My 15 year old baby brother had to go to the ER because he and his girlfriend fall out the passenger door and driver door.
