Consumer Description

Issue was with the boat trailer tire for VIN 405119BA2LC000663. Goodyear Marathon, ST205/75R14, DOT [XXX], 8/32 tread remaining. Steel belt failure. Tires pressure was set to 40 psi before trip. Failure occurred after 45 minutes on the highway traveling at 65 mph. Felt a bad vibration, then loud bang when air came out of tire. This tire is only 8 years old. I replace them at 10 years.
