The contact owns a 2019 Ford EcoSport. The contact stated while driving approximately 30 MPH, the vehicle stalled. The contact stated that the check engine and low oil pressure warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that an independent mechanic had recently replace the engine and the oil pump due to the oil pump failure. The contact had recently received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V905000 (Engine and Engine Cooling). The contact stated that before receiving the recall letter, two prior failures of the oil pump required that the engine, turbo charger, and oil pump were replaced twice. The contact had the vehicle towed back to the mechanic and was referred to the dealer. The contact had the vehicle towed to a dealer who diagnosed that engine, turbo charger, and oil pump needed to be replaced. The contact was advised that parts were not available to complete the repair. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000.
