Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2024 Toyota Tundra Hybrid. The contact stated that while the vehicle was exiting the local car wash, the contact heard a loud popping sound. The contact drove the vehicle 5 MPH the nearest safe location. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed with fractured front driver’s and passenger’s side CV axles. The contact was informed that the CV axles needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 3,000.
