Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the check engine warning light illuminated, and the message “Low Engine Power” was displayed on the instrument panel. The vehicle lost motive power immediately afterwards. The contact had to wait sometimes before being able to restart the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the turbo supercharger had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 140,000.
