The vehicle was taken to a dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the head gasket, fuel injectors, and the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The dealer refused to perform the recall repair due to several DTC codes retrieved while performing a diagnostic test. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 146,734.
