NHTSA Complaint #11601492 — 2024 HONDA CR-V

I was driving back Thorne to Illinois on the highway from Florida vacation. My car shut off and could not continue to accelerate, at this point I’m in Georgia on [XXX] . I pulled over to the shoulder my car would not start. I towed it to Honda and they didn’t find the issue because there were no codes coming up and let us go home. Car turned on next morning and we continued to drive home. Well before we got to Nashville Tennessee the car shut off on the Highway again. We towed it to Honda again in Tennessee this time. We had to catch a ride home because Honda said it was unsafe to drive the car and they kept it to repair it. They said Both fuel pumps were not working and that they were going to order those parts and replace them. And go from there. And now they have called me saying they have replaced the fuel pump but the car is still having the same issues and the engineers says to start replacing thing and to start with the PCM and go from there. Currently the car is still at Honda Tennessee and they’re awaiting to get the PCM delivered to replace it in the car.
