The contact stated that the vehicle also experienced a failure with A/C unit, and the failures became more persistent. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The manufacturer referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was 42,000.
