The contact owns a 2023 Fisker Ocean. The contact stated that on several occasions while driving various at various speeds after a software update, the brake pedal was depressed and remained on the floorboard. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to stop as intended. Additionally, the contact stated that there was a clicking sound coming from underneath the steering column and a whining sound when the brake pedal was depressed. The Brake and Collision Mitigation warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that the messages “Brake System Failure Service Required” and “ADAS System Service Required” were displayed. The vehicle was taken to the residence. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 2,100.
