NHTSA Complaint #11597423 — 2019 HONDA PILOT

The front camera has gone out on the Honda pilot, but inconsistently works. It will turn on while driving and turn off while the adaptive cruise control is on. The vehicle does not have a way to bypass the camera, so then there is consistently lights and alerts on. With not being able to bypass the camera features they will automatically come on or off while driving while the camera is not working properly. This vehicle was purchased in October of 2019, and has had camera issues since January 2024. The vehicle is not even 5 years old and has consistently had problems. The fuel injectors went out at 3 years, which I would not expect to go out, and from discussion with dealership there was an extended warranty for the same year Honda Odyessy, which was not extended for the Honda Pilot, but both vehicles have the same fuel injector system.
