Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2016 Ram 1500. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V406000 (Fuel System, Diesel). The contact stated that while driving at approximately 30 MPH, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was not able to be restarted. The vehicle was towed to a dealer where it was diagnosed that metal shavings were found in the oil, and an unknown part was replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 84,000.
