The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer stated that they would need to run another diagnostic to confirm if the vehicle fuel pump was the cause of the failure. The contact was unwilling to pay for a diagnostic to confirm if the fuel pump was at fault because he had been advised by the dealer they did not have the parts available to complete the repair.
