NHTSA Complaint #11593339 — 2024 TESLA MODEL Y

The Tesla accelerated by itself while I am driving in a heavy traffic. To avoid hitting the front car, I braked several times, which didn’t work at all. It still accelerated, instinctively I steered wheels to the right front and hit a small hill. Airbags are out. I struggled to get off the car and shouted for help. 911 was called and emergency ambulance took me to ER. Luckily I am alive, it could be much worse that I would tremble when thinking of that crash scene again. This happened on [XXX].
