NHTSA Complaint #11593040 — 2015 FORD FUSION

The contact owns a 2015 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while the vehicle was turned off with the gear shifter in park(P), the vehicle began to roll forward while the contact was in front of the vehicle. The vehicle was on an incline and independently stopped after rolling forward. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the mechanic informed the contact of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V413000 (Power Train) which the mechanic linked to the failure. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 190,000.
