Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact stated that upon attempting to start the vehicle, the vehicle failed to start. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with transmission and a battery failure. The vehicle was partially repaired. The vehicle remained at the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to call the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 150,000.
