Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2020 Ford Escape. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the driver's door failed to open all the way, and the contact observed a popping sound coming from the door hinges. Additionally, the contact stated that the driver's side window failed to roll down more than an inch. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the door needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 25,000.
