Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2020 Ford EcoSport. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the low-pressure oil warning light illuminated. Additionally, the vehicle lost motive power. The contact and other nearby individuals pushed the vehicle to the shoulder of the roadway. The vehicle was towed to the residence. The vehicle was then towed to the dealer however, the vehicle was not diagnosed. The contact was informed that the vehicle failed to start, and the engine needed to be disassembled to fully diagnose the vehicle. The contact stated that the Mobile App recorded that the vehicle was started while the vehicle was located at the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 52,575.
