NHTSA Complaint #11586163 — 2015 FORD ESCAPE

The contact owns a 2015 Ford Escape. The contact stated while reversing, the rearview camera image was upside down. There was no warning illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer however, the rearview camera could not be reset, and the dealer determined that the rearview camera needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 112,000.
