Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sport. The contact had experienced the failure causing the transmission to slip while shifting gears. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V116000(Power Train) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The local dealer was contacted and it was confirmed that the part was not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 22,000. The VIN tool confirms parts not available.
