The repair was covered under warranty. The failure reoccurred. The warranty company was contacted, and the contact was informed to take the vehicle back to the designated independent mechanic. The vehicle was taken to the independent mechanic; however, the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 78,000.
