NHTSA Complaint #11578628 — 2021 JEEP WRANGLER

The contact owns a 2021 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 70 MPH, the vehicle drove over a bump and experienced a death wobble. The contact then decelerated the vehicle to 45 MPH and was able to correct the failure. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the steering damper needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 38,000. The VIN was invalid.
