Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2020 Acura RDX. The contact stated that upon entering the vehicle and closing the driver's side door, the lift gate window suddenly shattered. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, a case was opened, and the contact was advised to take the vehicle to the dealer for inspection. The failure mileage was 75,000.
