Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2017 Ford Fiesta. The contact stated that upon attempting to reverse the vehicle, the vehicle failed to reverse as intended. The transmission warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the transmission. The contact stated that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 100,000.
