Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2023 Honda HR-V. The contact stated that while his daughter was driving 30 MPH, the rear windshield exploded without warning or impact. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer by his wife, and the mechanic placed a covering and seal on the windshield. The vehicle was taken to a glass replacement facility and the windshield was replaced. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 12,000.
