Consumer Description
Brake Wiring drivers side of trailer melted inside trailer axel and near brake drum. Technician stated possible due to wiring being damaged when run through axel. Camping World Lakewood NJ has defective wiring and photos. First noted something questionable about wires in [XXX] but seemed to be working ok then inspected by Camping World [XXX] found wiring insulation seriously melted. Wiring required replacement. Tried to upload pics but doesn’t direct to an upload page. I feel this could have be a catastrophic event and suggest closer inspections and testing of brake systems.
