The contact had to hold the door while driving to prevent the door from independently opening. The contact stated that the failure occurred at times when the outside temperature was below freezing. The contact also stated that the failure occurred two years ago on two occasions and the failure had reoccurred. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.
