NHTSA Complaint #11563175 — 2023 NISSAN ROGUE

My car was purchased in June 2023 and currently has 2,785 miles. I turned my car on and the engine light came on. As I was driving, it was hard to accelerate and my car was not driving properly. I received an email from Nissan Connect stating: Hi [XXX] , Your Rogue's engine may have an emission control system malfunction. If the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) is blinking, you may have a misfire or other component malfunction. To reduce or avoid emission control system damage: Do not drive at speeds above 45 MPH (72 km/h). Avoid hard acceleration or deceleration. Avoid steep uphill grades. If possible, reduce the amount of cargo being hauled or towed. I took my car to the Nissan dealer, and they said the engine failed. They don’t know how long it will take to repair.
