NHTSA Complaint #11563103 — 2021 FORD F-150

The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving in the rain at an undisclosed speed, the windshield wipers became inoperable. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was determined that the windshield wipers motor needed to be replaced. The dealer informed the contact that the vehicle could not be repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V842000 (Visibility) because the VIN was not included. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 85,000.
