Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2010 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the ABS warning light illuminated and continually activated and deactivated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the hydraulic control assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and referred to the NHTSA Hotline. The contact stated that the failure was like NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V904000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic). The failure mileage was approximately 144,107.
