NHTSA Complaint #11502812 — 2010 FORD FUSION

The contact owns a 2010 Ford Fusion. The contact stated while driving approximately 25 MPH, the "Service Advancetrac" message was displayed and ABS warning light was illuminated. The contact pulled over and the vehicle was turned off and restarted, and the warning message was no longer displayed, and the warning light was no longer illuminated. The contact stated that the failure recurred. Additionally, while driving at various speeds, the "Check Brake System" and ABS warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the ABS module needed to be replaced; however, the part was on back order. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 99,000.
