NHTSA Complaint #11561328 — 2017 HONDA PILOT

The contact owns a 2017 Honda Pilot. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle stalled. The Emission System Fault message was displayed. The vehicle was towed to the dealer; however, the cause of the failure was unknown. The contact was informed to add premium fuel and fuel injection cleaner however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was towed back to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the rocker arm oil pressure switch needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 67,400.
