The contact owns a 2020 Ford Escape. The contact stated that the front driver's side door made abnormal popping sounds while being opened, and all four windows failed to roll down. The front driver's side door later failed to open. The contact entered the vehicle through the front passenger's side door and climbed over to the front driver's side seat to operate the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the front driver's side door hinges were fractured, and the front driver's side door needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 19,502.
