Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Compass. The contact stated that the back over prevention camera displayed a blank or distorted image on the infotainment screen. The dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the failure and informed the contact that there were no recalls on the VIN related to the failure. The manufacturer referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 25,000.
