NHTSA Complaint #11552204 — 2018 NISSAN ROGUE

I have not had a wreck because of this, but it does affect the ability to drive this car at times. The HVAC blend door on this car will strip out and in the winter you cannot switch it from cold air to hot air. So you have to freeze while driving and if it starts sleeting or your front window starts icing up or fogging up you cannot defrost it because there is not hot air. This seems to be a common issue for Nissan Rogues as you can find many forums with people discussing this issue on different year models. I've tried using JB Weld plastic epoxy as some have mentioned to hold the motor from slipping in the hole but over time it breaks down and strips out again.
