Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated while driving 15 MPH, the steering wheel became firm intermittently making it difficult to maneuver the vehicle. The power steering warning light was illuminated. The vehicle had not been diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the VIN was not included in a recall. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000. The VIN provided was invalid.
