Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2020 Ford Escape. The contact stated that the front driver’s side door was difficult to open and close and there was a scraping sound heard while opening and closing the door. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the front driver's side door weld had detached, and the door needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 46,900.
