The contact owns a 2015 Ford Mustang. The contact stated while operating the vehicle, the back-over prevention camera displayed a distorted screen. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer and serviced under NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V082000 (Back Over Prevention). After retrieving the vehicle, the failure was still present. The contact stated that the back-over prevention camera display became inoperable and only a blank screen was displayed. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 96,000.
