Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2019 Acura RDX. The contact stated that the rear windshield suddenly shattered after the contact entered the parked vehicle. There was no impact to cause the rear windshield to shatter. Additionally, the vehicle had not been turned on at the time of the failure. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who replaced the windshield. The failure reoccurred. The vehicle was not repaired a second time. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 54,000.
