NHTSA Complaint #11545848 — 2014 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE

The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated that while driving at 75 MPH, The contact smelled fumes and the vehicle had turned off independently. When the vehicle turned off the steering became firm. The traction and service engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed back home. The vehicle had been diagnosed by an independent mechanic. The contact was informed that the failure was a faulty front and back valve, relay switch throttle and ignition switch. The vehicle had been repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and told the contact to make a complaint. The failure mileage was approximately 87,000.
