The contact became aware that there was coolant on the ground and under the hood. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle had not been diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and determined that the vehicle was not under a recall for the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 110,000.
