The contact stated that every time he scheduled the appointment to have the recall repair completed at the dealer, it was informed that the part was not available to complete the repair. The contact stated that while he was driving in reverse mode, he noticed the back-over prevention camera was inoperable. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the contact was informed again that the part was on backorder. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the dealer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer was made aware of the failure but confirmed that parts were not yet available.
