Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the keyless entry keypad on the driver’s side door had detached from the vehicle. The contact spoke with the dealer and was informed that the keypad needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired under an extended warranty. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to file a complaint. The approximate failure mileage was 35,508.
