NHTSA Complaint #11537160 — 2018 RAM 2500

The contact owns a 2018 Ram 2500. The contact stated while driving approximately 35 MPH, the "Service Electronic Brake" and "ABS Module Failure" messages were displayed. Additionally, the Forward Collision Avoidance Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) mode disengaged was displayed. The vehicle was taken to an unknown dealer, where it was diagnosed that the ABS pump control module had failed, and the ABS module part number: 68143491AB and an unknown module part number: 68347098AB needed to be replaced; however, the parts were not available. The dealer cleared the diagnostic codes; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to another dealer, who cleared the codes; however, the failure persisted. The contact stated that he had contacted several unknown dealers, who advised that the parts were not available. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
