NHTSA Complaint #11534053 — 2020 HONDA ACCORD

The contact owns a 2020 Honda Accord. The contact stated while driving 25 MPH, the messages "Lane Departure. See Dealer", "Engine Problem See Dealership”, “High Beam Problem. See Dealer" and other unknown messages were displayed. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where an unknown fuse was replaced; however, the vehicle started temporarily but the failure recurred. The dealer diagnosed and determined that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was towed to a transmission specialist, where the transmission was replaced; however, the failure persisted. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V771000 (Electrical System, Back Over Prevention, Visibility/Wiper, Visibility, Exterior Lighting); however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that they could not assist due to the mileage on the vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 84,000.
