Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2008 Toyota Tacoma. The contact stated while driving at unknown speeds and turning the steering wheel, there was an abnormal rattling sound heard. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that frame was rusted after removing the heat shield. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 109,151.
