The contact owns 2016 Ford Fusion. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the rear driver’s side door flew open without warning. The vehicle was taken a dealer where it was repaired out of pocket. After the initial repair was performed, the front passenger’s and rear passenger’s side doors both failed to operate as needed. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V177000 (Latches/Locks/Linkage). The manufacturer was contacted, and the contact was informed that the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 33,290.
