Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2018 Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle inadvertently lost motive power. Upon restarting the vehicle, the vehicle returned to normal functionality. The START/STOP system unavailability warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic however, the mechanic was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 45,000.
